A dog called Josie lived in an old, lonely, smelly dumpster with her six extraordinary puppies. They were six weeks old. They each had a different special mark on their bodies. The one had a white sock on it's left leg. Three puppies had different shaped white patches on their backs and one had a white stripe down its nose. The last puppy had a white belly. Josie was just pitch black. The dumpster was near a big colourful city with lots of people, cars, trucks and motorbikes.
On a brightly sunny day Josie realized the food was beginning to shorten around the smelly, old dump so Josie left her puppies hidden around the dump and went wondering into the brightly coloured city that had lots of lights. Josie was looking all over for food. She came up to a road a big, big road with lots of different types of transportation. She crossed the big road quite easily and when she got to the other side she went looking in parks, dustbins and around shops and restaurants. She had found enough food to last and her puppies for about two days. She made her way back to the puppies. When she got back to the big road she thought because she had made it across the big road once she could make it across again. But she was wrong. All the people were on their way home from work so they were franticly rushing past Josie. One truck instead of slowing down he sped up and five seconds later Josie was lying flat on the floor and the truck just kept going further and further into the distance. No one stopped to help Josie she was left there all alone. Josie had a big dream that her puppies were all grown up and she had missed basically their whole life. She was very scared that might happen. She was pulled to the side of the road by another dog that was also looking for food. When the other dog had pulled Josie off the road he ran away and lest Josie there lying all by herself still dreaming of what could happen. When Josie woke up she was confused didn't know where she was and how she got there. Then she started remembering everything as she was looking round she saw a pack of something running towards her as it got closer she realized it was her puppies. She was astonished that her puppies where able to find her. The puppies came up to Josie and began nudging as if to say "Get up" she got up limping with puppies all surrounded her and the sixth puppy was up in front leading her in a direction that was definitely not the way to the dumpster. They walked on and on until they reached a park full of animals with little animal homes. One of the homes had the name Josie and her six pups on it then she realized the puppies had organised it.
